1969 S Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Doubled Die?

gmanp135 New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 11/07/2020 09:05 am I am not sure,I am a novice,but there appears,(to my untrained eye) that there is doubling on the reverse side,though my pictures are not good it seems the upper horizontal bar on the E in one,the E and the N in cent and though hardly visible in my picture the horizontal bar in the T in cent there also appears to be doubling alongside the 1st or 2nd column to Lincolns right,the N in cent also has a notch atop the 1st N as well as the 2nd.But then again I am a novice Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/08/2020 2:32 pm Even that small of an image tells me it not the big DDO: You are probably looking at Machine Doubling. This was very common on the 1968-1972 cents. All below are Machine Doubling. *This affects just the outside edges of the devices*. Report this Post to the Staff
