Hi, I've been selling on ebay for several weeks now. I came across a few rolls of 2020 dimes and would like to sell them. What would be the cheapest way to ship them? I've only sent coins with Canada Post Lettermail, should I use flat rate boxes, prepaid envelopes or what?

Also does bubble mailers count as lettermail or parcel?

I believe that lettermail is supposed to have paper only.

the rolls are too thick , to ship as letter mail, you would have to send as regular parcel.. prices depend on where you are sending to.. you need to go to Canada post .ca , they will give you what you require.

If I were you, I would sell single 10 cent rolls (under 500g) and put them in a bubble mailer. You will pay $3 or $4 in postage and it should go through the system. If not, not a big loss. No buyer will pay $10 shipping for a roll of 2020 dimes.

Its says on Canada Post's Website that loose coins arent allowed, but "Coins can be accepted as Standard Lettermail provided they are properly enclosed"

I've never had issues sending coins in letter mail, even when the postal clerks know what's in there, providing that it fits the weight and thickness dimensions allowed.

Last time, a brand new clerk asked if it was anything other than paper, and the experienced clerk told her "doesn't matter."

Bubble mailers count as letter mail providing they fit the maximum dimensions.

No such a thing like "FREE tracking" with Canada Post, except the annual free Tuesday parcel shipping in October.
