The top picture is from USAMint.com. The bottom one is the coin I found. The differences (wide gaps) should be obvious, but I can post more pics if needed. Is this some sort of error? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

A wider gap between design details could be explained by die wear or abrasion.

I'd expect doubling, if any exists, to be lower. Specifically at the very center of the coin, in and around the branches.

I've seen photos of a so-called DDR on one of these coins in a Facebook group, unfortunately the photos were really blurry. However, the doubling was at the center of the coin where you'd expect it.
