So I've been going through my dads coin collection and I found these two coins labeled Missprints. I don't see anything odd about these coins except the dime off the back of his head it looks like there is a little flare that might not supposed to be there. The penny I don't see anything. If you know anything please feel free to share your wisdom with me! thanks in advance guys!

Suggest taking the coins out of their 2x2s and re-photographing them--2x2 mylar can reduce the usefulness of the images. Photos should be large(r), high resolution--front and back. Additional photos can be close-in on the areas/details in question. Thanks.

to CCF. Will wait for new pics. When you put them in new 2x2's,make sure to flatten the staples so you don't damage others when stacked.

Hard to tell for sure what he was seeing on these coins. Best to take them out of the coin condoms, to get better images.

If these work out, I will use the same process to do the penny. thanks

I'm still trying to get used to using the image optimizer... what a great tool!

Well this coin is a silver coin, so it is worth more than face. The discoloration is tarnish on the coin. Just a silver melt coin. Not seeing any thing real special. There is a die crack on the head. (but not much of a premium for that) Just an aging die event.

Right on, I know a bit about coins, Error coins not so much. the line behind his head was the only thing I could see that was different. I'll post some of the cooler errors I've found here in a bit. I appreciate your input and look forward to contributing to this awesome forum!

When you post the cent, could you please put it in it's own thread? Thanks. That helps us.
