Beekeeper New Member Canada 11 Posts	Posted 11/13/2020 1:22 pm There looks to be some doubling on the left leaf also. I have gone through my 1979 pennies looking for the date doubling and found more than 20 with doubling. They are very interesting when you find similarities between 2 or more coins. From looking at the CaC link, I think that they just had some huge quality control problems for the mintage year.
