1982 Possible Lamination Error - Coin Community Forum

There are patterns on the reverse of the penny that I thought indicated a lamination error. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Report this Post to the Staff

The reverse certainly looks to have the graininess - maybe it was pinned between shifting sand, and something abrasive? Either way, the discolouration on the top of the obverse seems to indicate some form of environmental damage. Report this Post to the Staff
