I know cooper I was actually thinking the same thing. Was actually gunna ask for advice on which one u guys mite think it cld be. Am I wrong? Is it not a D over S. It seems to clearly be to me but again I'm a newbie.

Wexler lists a lot more. Try checking there

On Wexler, I think the WOMM #4 or #16 would be the closest matches. Take a look at those and try to match the die markers

There is no upper 'S' north of the mintmark. Also the locations for the mintmarks are not even close to 004 and 016. They are further south of the location of the OP's images.

You might wonder why this year had so many over mintmarks. But keep in mind that the San Francisco mint closed that year. So they might have tried to fix the dies that were created for San Francisco, to be used at Denver. So I wonder if there were more of the in 1956?
