I was told today that their call queue is full and they've reached their "maximum daily call limit."

The recording said to email them. But when you email them you get an automated response saying to call. Is PCGS coming unglued?

Reminder: PCGS is a publicly-traded company.

Had that happen before. The email takes a week or two to get back. The trick is to call them at open.

I had the same thing happen with Amazon. Thought about chatting, but who wants to sit around while the other guy reads your question and looks up and then types his answer? So I tried the thing that said they'd call me, thinking they'd put me in a queue, and I'd get the call when someone was ready to talk. Instead they called immediately to tell me that I'd be on hold for more than 15 minutes (seriously, why do they call you to make you sit on hold—where, by the way, they break in every five minutes to tell you that you could chat instead). So I hung up and went ahead with chat, had to wait almost ten minutes and then get a popup telling me they are too busy and I should call.

Customer service is no longer a priority these days.

I'm not trying to make this a Covid discussion ( now that's out of the way).

Turnaround time has been slow, very slow, since reopening after their shut down. Even once they had been reopened, months later, I still had a 20-40 min. hold time on several occasions. Given the spike in cases in Cali, could be a possibility they're short staffed, playing catch-up, a bit overwhelmed ..... I wouldn't say their coming unglued, just attempting to manage the current situation like so many other businesses.

Practice patience and no expectations, give people/places the benefit of the doubt. Best shot is as Grape mentioned, call early, be persistent. Good luck. Rant over.

That is more true than many could imagine.

Too many people calling in asking how to submit their V75 coins so they can cash in.

Their stock price has gone through the roof. I imagine there might be a correlation with customer support - that whole income versus expenses thing.
