shantiom Pillar of the Community United States 522 Posts	Posted 11/20/2020 12:03 pm Thanks all, the story with this coin is that I found it among 7 other BIEs in the same Tube of 1955 S LWC coins taken from either a Mint Bag or OBW roll. The scratch on the forehead is on 4 of the 8 coins. In addition there were 5-6 separate coins with a die chip but no BIE on the 9, 5 and S of the date and mint mark, respectively. I like the research, so if there is something you want me to look for, to study these 1955 S BIEs let me know, and I will post a new thread just on these 8 coins and die chip coins at the US Modern Errors forum. This was likely a once in a life time roll, and it was fun! Report this Post to the Staff
