It is a modern reproduction. Besides the far too low weight, the design elements look wrong, and it has a flat rim along the edge, something that you find only on more modern coins.

@angel, rather than reanimating old threads best practice is to start a new one for each new coin and so I have split off this into a new thread. You can add a link to the old thread in your text if it contains important information.

I agree with it being a fake. I suggest using the PCGS CoinFacts APP (Free) to bring up images of a 1796 Dollar and you will be able to see the design flaws. The rim is the easiest to detect from the photograde images.
