Going through US Mint rolls and came across this blurb on the mint mark—it looks flat and not raised or indented. Suspect PMD but not sure—thanks

@Ima, I suspect PMD as well--looks kinda like a dried water spot across the mintmark.

looks like some sort of stain to me.

I washed with acetone and couple days later used q-tip and MS70 but no change.

A stain doesn't wash off. That is why they call it a stain. The surface metal was altered.
