Found a 1913 today, not sure of mint...have to dig it back out of the wheat pile.

This last box was amazing...got probably 70 wheats out of it. I usually average around 15.

Going to have to figure out a way to get rid of my canadians though...being in SE MI, I tend to pull between 1 and 5 from each roll....and the bank wont take it back, even though they've got no problem giving it to me in the box.

I have been on vacation and up here in Wisconsin they have $10 boxes. Bought two today and overall got 36.75% copper, many nice and I mean REALLY nice early 70s LMCs. About 15 wheats of which there was a super nice 57d and a really nice 1919. I will post pics of the two wheats when I get home :-)
One thing that seems to still be holding true for me, if I run into a roll with a Canadian cent in it, it produces way more copper cents and usually a nice wheat or two.
Has anyone else had this same correlation between Canadian cents and better finds?

I found a zinc penny yesterday which was almost completely smooth on both sides. The rim was nice and full so I know it wasn't from normal wear. You can just barely visually make out Lincoln's head on the obverse and the same with the memorial on the flip side. But when you rub it with your finger, you can't feel anything, just smooth zinc. Anyone know what this might be from? I'll try to post pics later when I get home.

Daughter and I searched our second box of pennies today. 41, 45, 46x2, 50D. A number of canadian - 45, 62, 63, 64x2, 65, 66, 76, 79, and 81.

The gem was pulled by my daughter -- a 1891 indean head.

Nice find on the Indian

Out of a great box of Canadian cents so far I've pulled a 1920 D and 1926 wheat, I usually get a few 40's & 50's out of a box but rarely 20's!

EDIT and it keeps getting better, just added a 1919 S & 1930 D to that!!

Oooh, nice 1891! Pic?

Hopefully I get to say something like that with my next box o' cents, which is sitting on my table just waiting for me to clear off the stack of dimes that netted me no silver. :)

Wow! Nice find on the 1891 Indian Head cent! The oldest I have found is a 1899 Indian head! Its very exciting when you find a Indian head believe me!
