Ancientcoinguy....you sure that isn't a capped die instead of a Greaser. I swear I see the columns of the memorial on the obverse

I'm almost certain that is a capped die.

Good eye, unholyroller! Thanks for correcting my mistake. I don't know if you can see it from the pics, but that coin has two depressions where the top of the memorial would be and where the base would be. You can feel it when you touch it. It is amazing that the date is still readable.
A quick question, is a capped die rarer than a greased die? I don't have any others and I have never bought one, so I don't know how much it would be worth. Can someone give an estimate?
One more question, what would you grade the '54 wheatie? It is nicer in hand and still shows very strong luster. I'm thinking MS.

@ancientcoinguy: Yeah, struck through a die cap is rarer than Struck Through Grease. I couldn't give you an idea of value, but it definitely falls into the "valuable, collectible error" category. Check out recent ebay sales, there are probably a couple in there. @bishftl: How the heck did that happen?

Sweet, I've looked and looked and I can't find a cam or WAM. I was beginning to think they don't even exist, lol.

Did anyone else notice the sealed box of pennies on ebay that sold for 152 bucks plus 15 bucks shipping ? Looked like the same boxes I buy from banks for 25 bucks.

The only boxes of cents I can find that sold in that price range are either 2009 cents or an auction for TWO boxes of cents. Cant find any non-2009 boxes that have sold anywhere near that price.
