@southsav, Still thinking about that 1955... hope someone else can offer an objective opinion about that interesting coin.

1) Why is there a mark between the 9 and 5?
2) What about the location of "Liberty"?

Is this a double strike?

Nice reds, Bish. You should send that 42D off to the feds and find out who had no respect.

I hit a run like that not long back. Got 3/4 roll of 43P's topping it off and bumped up several S mint's tubes from the 40's. I love it when people dump.

through a loop under certain angles the bottom has the curve of a two but probably just seeing what I want to see.

Yeah I see a 1917 also. It's pretty evedent by that last photo you can see the full round of the 7.

Looks like a smashed 7 with corrosion where the MM should be.
