So awesome. And, I know I'll be finding more. Almost every time I go there's steels. Not as many as this time, though.

Lonz, I can't believe you found one WAM, much less multiples! I have searched thousands of pennies, never found one. You're the man.

By the way, the halves were not rolled, DrDon, they were loose.

P.S. Lonz,

Can you post a pic of the WAM? I'd love to see it.

my latest 98 WAM ...

...I'm actually pretty happy with this picture considering the coin was in a 2X2 and was using my iPhone (side note - I created a lightbox/stand for macro-iPhone coin photography using a box from half dollars - pretty handy now that I found out there is an AF/Focus hold setting in the camera app)

No macro lens... just using the focus lock function - comes in handy! Wish I would have known about it before..

Great finds everyone!

Anyway, decided to go ahead and finally do a box of pennies.

Got 14 wheat pennies. All common 40's - 50's years but I'm still pretty happy with my finds.

A coin that looks like a 1960 small date. Not too sure though.

2 Canadians: 1980 and 2005

Edit: Upon closer inspection, the 1960 is most likely a large date.

The Alice Penny messed with my head. At first it looked like it was melting a blobulous flow of molten jelly and then I thought someone had stamped a Giant Ear on the upper right hand side.
