I was walking by a Coinstar tonight, when I saw someone with a 5 gallon container of coins. It ended up being over $400! They let me have some of their rejects, including a nice '43-P steel cent and a silver dime. The cent still has a lot of its original luster, it's not replated. I seem to have lost the dime.

Seeing as I work at a bank, and am an AVID CRH, but don't do to much in the way of pennies, I love when penny crh's come in! Just a few minutes ago, a guy came in looking for pennies for hunting, and I HOOKED HIM UP! with $60.00 of my oldest rolls of CWR's! He was pumped! Love that feeling. I wished him happy hunting and that he had to come back to show me his finds!

Now here's a strange find. I've been sitting on a Brinks box of cents for a couple of months now. I knew from a quick glance that it was a copper-free box, so I was in no hurry to check it. About 20 rolls in found my first copper cent in the box. Might not even be a VDB; since the initials are so weak might be one of the reverse dies that had the initials ground off after the Treasury Secretary ordered the reverse dies changed to remove the initials. But I can't figure out why a box with absolutely no copper cents in it whatsoever would yield this! By the way, Yinzi, that is a Sweet 1909!

Just found another copper in that box seven rolls later. Another Wheat cent, a 1940 that looks like it was hit by a bulldozer.
