Last weeks finds, My fourth proof cent, I now have 1975, 1976, 1979, and this 1980. It's not in the greatest shape, but it's a hole filler 1923s Gotta love the hockey stamp, now if only we can get the NHL and players to play some hockey.

Lonzo...how do you tell if the box is String and sons ? I can't find anything on my boxes to tell me where they're from. Maybe I'll look closer and see.

The rolls will be brown paper with red striped ends and will say "String & Sons" or they will just be blank, but the same colors I believe. I think S&S sells blank rolling paper to the armored car services as well as their branded.

Ha if there will ever be a hockey season which I doubt...not as many fans as nfl or nba so they have no time to hurry it along because no one cares really...u don't see anything ever about it on sports center but with nfl it was like everyday coverage of the lockout...little off topic but o well...nice find on that proof prob wuda missed it myself unless I noticed the s because just looks like a plain ole copper 1980

Thanks Lonz ! I don't think I've ever seen a hockey counter stamped penny. Now I need to see if I can find one on ebay.

1881 Indian! One of the oldest I've heard of from a roll. Sweet! Just saved this from the wild. Essentially worthless, but nice to save.
