Concerning the '99 WAM, has anyone noticed the small die chip on the left side of the fourth pillar from the right on the reverse? It is on the one Mountainman (congrats) found recently, and its on all the ones I've found. I don't know if this has been discussed before, so forgive me if it has. I do believe it has been said only one die pair was used for these errors. What were the estimates of these that were released.....300 or less?

mfhorn...... WAM's 1998 - 1,500,000 in 5,032,155,000, or about 1 in 5,000. 1999 - 500,000 in 5,237,600,000, or about 1 in 10,000. 2000 - 3,000,000 in 5,503,200,000, or about 1 in 1,800. from this thread... http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...PIC_ID=23554

Correction on that die chip. On mine it is between the fifth and sixth columns from the right side, towards the top. Going back to Mountainmans WAM, it looks to be between the fourth and fifth columns. Lonz......thanks for the head count on the WAMs. With 500,000 on the '99, probably more than one die pair.

I've never found a 99 or 2000 WAM so I became obsessed over their rarity/scarcity ... finally found that thread and don't feel so bad now... lol... I do have 2 98 WAM's though!

Bought 20 rolls of customer rolls today that were virtually all wheats. There was a hole filler 1911-S among the common dates. It has rim damage but would have been a G-4.

MM2 With all the luck! mailbox finds...... nothing "special" about these coins. These are my first pcgs graded cents and I'm trying to hone my grading skills... although I've heard mixed reviews of the way they grade, they command the highest premiums - so I'm trying to use these slabs as benchmarks for other coins I'm planning to send in.

mountainman - super jealous of your find. I need a 1911-s as a hole filler and can't believe you found one in circulation. Congrats!
