That 1937 looks better than some 2012's. Amazing find!
And Fistfull, THAT was a score! I'm sure it goes without saying, but check those 1955's close.

Wasn't running register much tonight--I was the Designated Lottery Machine Operator--but I did find a sick 1939, and a 1970s I'm indecisive about (some of them, I've noticed, are way harder to discount than others, and I don't know if that's because they're small dates and I'm too dumb to know it, or if it's my eyes)!

Finds from the last few days: A die break on a 1971d that looks to be halfway to becoming a Cud. 1984 with a die clash, slightly rotated 1941 Canada Cent (scarce date) Plus this possible Trail Die 1988. I check all of the "FG" initials on the reverses of 1988 and 1988D's to see if I have a Transitional Reverse, or I never would have caught this. I suspect it's only from aggressive die polishing, but would like to get opinions (I'm going to give this one it's own post) Also got a 1910, 1928, and a pretty rusted 1943 Steel. Didn't think they were worth the photos!

I was getting my morning coffee at Starbucks and the barista gave me back in change a 1929 cent! That has to be the oldest cent I have received in change in quite some time.

My Sixth tribe member, definitely the ugliest member of my tribe. Looks to be a 1888.

tuleja - there's no such thing as an ugly Indian head find in my book! 6 down, 44 to go in order to get that "Roll of Indian Heads pulled from circulation in the 21st century".

I like seeing the Indian roll finds. When I take my looked through pennies back to the bank I salt them with a beat up IHC for people to find.

I have only just heard about this, and I am wondering what the difference is between the reverses of pre-1988 and post 1988 LMCs? How can you tell if a 1988 penny has a "transitional" reverse? Thank you for your help! Happy Hunting!
