After reading this forum for a bit I finally decided to jump in. Got two boxes of pennies and one box of nickels. Just finished the first box of pennies. Decent results:

Wheats:
1942
1944
1945-d
1951
1953-d
1955

3 Canadian pennies

1 Slightly off center 1992-d (maybe 5% off).

I am also filling a LMC album with BU examples and have already done a pretty good job filling holes. I figure the second box will get that pretty much complete.

Greetings all,

I just finished up one of my weekly boxes of pennies. A decent box overall. Wheat pennies were up just a bit from my norm, with my second 1929S from circulation being the highlight. The surprise was the relatively low amount of ‘S' minted pennies. They are usually more on line with the number of wheats. Just something a bit different. Hopefully I can snag two more boxes this week, maybe three if I play my cards right. Until next time!

Wheat Pennies: 12 (1927, 1929S, 1937, 1940, 1944, 1945, 1947D, 1952D, 1953D, 1953S, 1957, 1957D)

‘S' Mint Memorial Pennies: 4 (1970 x2, 1971, 1974)

Heritage Pennies: 22 (all four designs, 21 P and 1 D)

Canadian: 25 (Notables 1952, 1963, 1964, none newer than 1999)

Errors/Varieties: 1960D Small Date x2

40 rolls today. the most I've ever done at one time by far, I got 1 1957 wheatback out of all of it and about 10 canadian pennies. its a bit of a letdown. I had hoped to get some more wheats for my collection. oh well. I still got a decent amount of pre 82 cents.

Box #2 - even better than the first

1919-s (oldest coin found yet
1945
1948-s
1949
1953-d
1957-d
1958-d

A possible 1998 WAM (will try to post a photo). I feel pretty good about the findings and enjoyed pennies. Hopefully more good finds for everyone!

BadThad:The coin pictured is NOT a WAM.

The "A" in "STATE" is centered.I thought that meant " WAM"
The "FG" is close to base of memorial.I thought that was " WAM"
The "M" in "AMERICA" is centered between the "A" and "E".
That is " WAM"

Got only 4 wheats out of my 8th box but one of them, a 1927, was a hole filler so I'm not going to complain.
