Just found this beauty of a 1909VDB. Nicest one I've found yet, full wheat ears. Good detail.

Don't quote me on this but I think another way to tell on the WAM is the bow tie I'm not sure if that is 100% true or not but coop had told me that and that's how I determine mine. If you knew that already I'm sorry if I insulted anyone lol has anyone seen coop around lately I'm in need of some educational pics

Living in northern Kentucky it's rare to find Canadians

I live a little further south than mfhorn (just outside of Lexington), and I only need three to finish my Canada Cent 1947-2010 book (I simply bought a blank Whitman cent book and used that). I need the 1954 and 1955 NSF's, and the 2006 P non-magnetic (I think these are only in mint sets so I probably won't find that). I found the 1949 A to Denticle, and the magnetic no logo 2006 in Kentucky pocket change. I find plenty of Canadians!

bishftl:The '94 is not a WAM, on a WAM the "M" is evenly spaced between the "A" and the "R"
daniels: The obverse of the '97,'98,'99 is differs from other years but the 2000 is a one year design. Neither change involved the bow tie.

The points to check are the "A" in "STATE" and the "M" in "AMERICA". They would be centered on the WAM. Also the position of the "FG"; close to building on the WAM ,further away on a CAM.

I forgot, the 1992 obverse is a unique design involving the bow tie but should be the same for both reverses (normal or CAM).

I was sorting some cents I got today from the bank. Keeping the coppers, and adding to my pile. I found 10 wheats so far, but I dont think this coin is anything but what do you think, is it man made or an old lamination error?
Should I keep it?

12 rolls today, 1 wheat 1929 s, 1 2010 canadian, 1 2011 canadian, and 1 1984 canadian. 6 rolls of copper. not too bad. I like the way it was around 50% copper in the rolls. the 1929 s is my second oldest penny to date, a 1927 I found last year being the oldest. its also the oldest I found so far this year.
i had hoped to have a few boxes done at least but the only bank that will give me boxes is low and they have to hold on to the ones they have for their business clients, which makes sense. at least they were nice enough to give me as many as they could even if it only was 12. year to date details tommorow.
