2 bank boxes and most pulled from the second, makes you wonder if they just turned down the sensitivity and let it rip to clean out the machine or something..

Just went through four bank rolls:
1st roll: only eight copper, which included a 1982-D large date, and 1956-D wheat (also two 1974-D bu cents)
but overall There were also a 1969-S and 1970-S in the rolls. Also two wheats (the 1956-D and a 1958-D)
52/200 for 26% copper. I ended up decent in terms of copper percentage.

I popped open a roll at work today and found a
1953 D, a 1941 and an 1893 IHC.
That's my first ever IHC.

Here is a checkpoint of all of my old cent finds from bank rolls. I have searched 528,250 cents and I have found 246 coins older than 1940. Three (1935, 1937, and 1939) are Canadian. Eleven are Indian Head cents and 232 are Lincoln Wheat Cents. It's incredible that there are still some lower minted old cents out there. I just found my first 1955s so the only one after 1939 that I haven't found is 1943s.

another box done. I had hoped to go at it a bit harder than I have been able to so far this year but I think I'm doing alright. totals for the year so far.
240 rolls searched
69 rolls of 55 copper pennies
60 wheat pennies, a 1929 being the oldest. 2 of them this box we're really nice compared to most I find, one a 46 with an awesome rainbow toning and the other a 52 with most of the original luster.
49 canadian pennies, oldest being a 1943. most of them are pretty beat up.

i am kind of surprised the canadians are trailing the wheat pennies, until recently the situation seemed to be reverse kind of.
