Arnbrhm New Member United States 22 Posts	Posted 11/25/2020 8:07 pm Without magnification, I'm unable to see the mint mark on this quarter. I was wondering if this is a grease strike or just some kind of wear/damage. Thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

Spence Moderator United States 34427 Posts	Posted 11/25/2020 9:20 pm Yes the mintmark is a bit hard to see as it is almost flat compared to the surface of the coin. I'm on the fence as to whether it is circulation flattening, a little grease in the die, or some of both. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/26/2020 7:39 pm Looks more like a almost full Grease Fill. Note that the motto above and the mintmark looks wider than normal. It not as what you are seeing is the base of that devices. The more grease, the more the device goes away. Report this Post to the Staff
