I flipped it 6-12 for pics.
What might be top/bottom front/back of coin when read for orientation? year? country? denomination? like I said I know nothing about it.
size is cent diameter 3x as thick +-

Although the writing doesn't appear the same when I look that up, should I assume there are many different "regions/tribes" that would make the writing different?
Anyway thanks for sharing your knowledge I didnt even know where to begin.....

@themaineway, no there are not different regions that have different writing. Unlike modern western style coins, the die was considerably larger than the flan in many cases so no coin would have the complete legend, even aside from being struck off centre and there being variations among the different dies. So it is a bit of a numismatic minefield here for the novice.
