 to the CCF! Your cent is MAD, miss aligned dies. Don't see a lot of these on shield cents and may hold a small premium. |

I would like to see clear closeups of the date and the word LIBERTY if you could please. I think I see something but would like clear pics of those two areas.

I am not surprised. Misaligned Die. Little if any premium. Check ebay's SOLD listings to check. to the CCF!  |

I agree with halo, looks like an uncentered broadstrike to me.

@stvn, first welcome to CCF. Second, with the strike not being centered on both sides of the coin, I agree with @halo that this coin was strunk a bit off center (as opposed to being a MAD). Worth saving in a 2x2!

Off-center coin with the possibility of being a DDO, pixs as requested along with the ear with defussed light (alittle too much glare on first set of photos)....good luck |

As Adam E said, this is an uncentered broadstrike with the usual stiff collar effect.
Error coin writer and researcher.
