It looks like someone has stuck what looks somewhat like a ML on to create a rare coin. It's not even the right shape or size. Just think, if there was such a variety, it would not be a "one of one" as there would be 100's of thousands of them out there as it would have to be on the striking die. DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9862 Posts	Posted 11/29/2020 8:58 pm There is such a variety. In fact I own one. So this coin can't be 1 of 1. They are hard to find, but not rare. The maple leaf was hand punched into the individual dies not into the master. There are a number of different locations for the leaf but most don't attract any notice. There is no market for leaf position varieties, it's not even worth 2% of what the seller is asking.
