The heavy obverse leg scuffs may hold the '34 to MS-64, but it's a beauty.

I'm at AU-55+ on the '36.

I think your right on the 34 but the 36 is higher than 55 if you go online and compare it to a au 55 the details are not there.

I'm sure you're right on the '36, this is not really my series. It just suffers from comparison to that whopper '34.

I'd say MS-64 on the 1934, and possibly MS-63 on the 1936. What are the curved lines above Liberty's head on the 1936?

The peice above liberty head is not on the coin its on the 2×2 its in.

The 34 has a nice strong strike and if not for the leg chatter MS66 but the reverse carries it...I'll say MS65

The 36 is a little weak on the strike but has no significant dings or chatter...MS62

MS-65 for the '34, and
MS-63 for the '36.

The '34 is a tiny bit better strike.

Both desirable pieces!

with all those nicks up and down the forward leg ( at least it appears that way in the photo) I cant see the 34 over MS64
