Morgans Dad Pillar of the Community United States 5604 Posts	Posted 12/01/2020 8:07 pm .....I am wondering, just with the low mintage's across the choices, how many dies does any one here think were used. For the 75th ASE, the AGE and the Silver medal and Gold coins. Could not of been many. I received all but the Gold AGE and they ALL are, in My opinion, Flawless and Sweet, Beautifully designed and Best, Held in hand. What do others believe, I really do NOT think they used many, just seeking the opinions of those who also, made the plunge Too, Thanks.............. Report this Post to the Staff

They said there are 1941 made AGE'S, = 1 SET OF DIES, They said there are 75,000 made ASE's, = 15 sets of dies, They said there are 7,500 24 kt Anniversary gold coins, = 1.5 sets of dies, Also They said there are 20,000 Silver Anniversary medals, = 4 sets of dies. My figures of dies are a simple under-guesstimate. I am sure that these numbers, my die set s are light. Due to the Out pouring of posts here on this topic, I agree to disagree with the majority of You all, in regards to most of the numbers, posted in and on, this topic............... commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12255 Posts	Posted 12/04/2020 07:43 am Based on previous Mint reports, I think your die count estimates would be more accurate if you used a figure in the 2,000 to 2,500 strikes range for die life vs. 5,000. Also, remember that dies are often replaced individually vs. always in pairs (I.e., obverse and reverse together). Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.
