 To CCF. Its not a Error from the mint. Its a Dryer Coin, Stuck in the tumbler going round and round with the heat will cause this / Or someone was trying to make a ring out of it by smashing the rim then they cut a hole for the finger and polish it up. Best bet is a Dryer Coin its a spender. How's that old song go. You spin me right round baby right round.

 to the CCF! It's just damage. It's what's called a Dryer Coin. It was trapped inside the drum of a dryer for a period of time and tumbled over and over against the inside of the machine.
