Cherrypicked this one and it came in the mail today. Proofs are hard to get a grade on from photos but it would seem this thing should go 67 with a very strong DDR so might NGC slab it. 1955 Proof Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - DDR-007

Another great variety with nice separation.

Great coin! Though I think the scattered marks in the field would hold it to 66 or depending on how it is in hand, 65, though I'm extremely harsh with proofs

Thanks for all the super nice comments! And John I'd go with NGC as it's not a Cherrypicker variety so PCGS at best would label it "minor DDR." I like the actual attribute on the label.

Coin is DDR-007, not DDR-004. Has the clear die marker on the lower left wheat I just didn't do a close up of it, and not a DDO.

I took a look at that 1DR-003 when I was attributing this one and no, it does not match and does not have those markers. Not sure which die, if any, from VV matches that one but it sure has some interesting markers for a proof.
