So I was happily surfing Lincolns on ebay for varieties, and in a group lot of better grade wheats I thought I could see a 1942-D DDO. Not super important but I put in a low bid and won the lot for about six bucks plus shipping. When paying for it, I noticed that the seller was a friend of mine and member of CCF. Figured I'd send him an email and all. Plus side is he noted that it might be as he hadn't checked those for the minor stuff I was after, so there was hope. End story, what I saw was a light reflection off a carbon spot that looked like a bar under the L of LIBERTY. Ah well. But figured I'd take a look at the rest of them and lo and behold came up with this other rather minor DDO.
