They are normal sized for a large date cent. It would be a nice album coin. The slight around of wear on the tops of the devices are making that look in the images. It is a fairly nice die state coin. Note the flat fields and the strong shape of the devices. I keep it as an album coin. Note the difference between a normal coin and the DDO for that year side by side.

Quote: None of these letters or numbers are doubled? You asked us about the value, you hadn't asked us about doubling (titles/descriptions are important). As mentioned, it's difficult to see your coin clearly, but Die Deterioration seems to be present. Yours is a large date, apparently zinc. No premium I'm afraid. Value: 1 cent.

It's a good idea to buy some white cotton inspection gloves. When you touch the surface of coins it can leave oils and salts from your skin that tone and discolor them and even leave your fingerprints over time. Once this is done, it cannot be reversed. This is particularly true of bright, red copper coins. You should be able to gloves at a coin shop, hobby shop, pharmacy or get them online for just a few dollars. It can really save you from problems in the future.
If this coin had been rare, touching the surfaces like this could have reduced the future value.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!
