coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/07/2020 2:33 pm The area on the back of the head may of had some grease in the depths of the die, thus preventing the hair to strike up on your coin. Sometimes the grease is filling a lot of the die: Those are the ones collectors prefer. A slight amount is common on to find on coins. Report this Post to the Staff
