I have tried to get better pics and I will try again but this is a nice pre Cud according to what I read on Cuds on coins. I think that is basically a die crack.

Retained Cud. Note the metal is moving away from the central area of the die on the coins design.

They over used the dies on the 1950's wheat cents. Thus all the strange events happening on the coins during that time. With so much going on during that time, it make interest in these, wane during that time.
