did? Have 1994 d quarter thats not in the best shape, but certainly not the worst. Found some doubling on arrow feathers, the leaves to the east of them, the left wing, and the UN in unum. Do you all think its Doubled die or Die Deterioration Doubling? Thanks in advance.

Looks like MD. Please crop photos properly before posting. You will get much better feedback if you do not post pics of the coins on the monitor. Post from memory card to the computer and then from the computer to CCF.

Note the areas you are looking at. On the outside of devices is where you find Machine Doubling. It removes the contour on one side of the devices because the machine damages those areas on the coin. On a doubled die, the devices are enlarged, not reduced in size.

Note the centers of the devices. You can see the spread there. also the closed devices, the inner areas are reduced in size. Hope this helps.
