Hi,

Very new to all of this, but I found this 2011 D penny. In between the ones in 2011 looks like a double 0 or is it smooth? Any suggestions. Sorry I'm a newbie

A close(er)-in, sharp photo of the coin's date--take at a slight angle--would help. At this point, it appears to be a stain.

Yep, it looks like a "0" from that picture but most likely a well placed stain on the surface.

In general we ask for a good photo of each side and a sharp close-up of areas in question.
