I don't think "strike mates" is an official numismatic term.

Nice! From the same die. ! Where/how did you acquire them?

I bought them at ebay for a pretty high price. Bid highest. 2 rolls. looking for the triple date die. always a crap shoot if really obw but I feel these had not been searched. still one to check.

there were some type of crack like I have shown in the last week on at least half of them.

Because it touches the rim does it make it a Retained Cud? Just curious.

Good question @cc. My novice opinion is that these are both die chips as they clearly are emanating from the inner part of the die. One has progressed to the rim, but I'm still thinking die chip rather than Cud. I'm interested to hear what those who are more knowledgeable think about this subject.

It would be nice to get @coop to weigh in. My thinking is still that if the chip on the die starts on the edge then it is a Cud, but if it starts somewhere on the interior and progresses to the rim, then it is still a chip rather than a Cud.
