reverse brings it up to 55 for/from me (just not seeing the luster..from these photos)

It's MS sorry, flat areas on his hair which suggests gVF at best.

The obverses are pretty much sharp from VF up, an MS coin would have lustre, still a nice coin.

British grading VF+ to gVF (US - XF40 maybe).

with Princetane. Not enough hair detail between the ear and the parting to be Uncirculated.

Here is what a close to MS coin would look like.
Your coin is a nice decent and above average example in the low - mid VF range.

1946-UK-Half-Crown-Grade
All the lions here have a sharp detail on their bodies and paws, your coin its flatter and parts are missing. Also the beads are all circular and not slightly flattened. The letters are also in much higher relief.

This is a high AU, looks UNC/MS but light wear on cheek and hair, so that gives you an idea of what to aim for.

Prince I would say that is unc that is just heavy bag marks obviously was laying head side down you only need to look at the reverse that is about as good a strike as I have seen on a GVI Halfcrown almost flawless :)
