I was just wondering what the name of this die event would be. I know there's an actual name for it, it's just slipped my mind.

It's extra metal, as there is no indent in the rim at where the spilled metal is located.

Because it's at the rim, I believe there's a specific word you would use for it.

As in struck through copper foil?

Huh maybe, you'd be the expert in this field. I was thinking it might be a type of struck through but I wasn't sure.

I believe that with this level of circulation wear, it is hard to know for sure. Perhaps a folded over Rim Fin or struck through copper foil flake?

I originally thought it was wear as well, I looked at it from several angles, both with my naked eye and through a microscope. It's a direct extra piece of metal attached to the rim. It doesn't come from the rim either as the rim hasn't been dented and is smooth.

Maybe a folded over Rim Fin, but I would think I would notice some of it on the actual rim as well if that was the case. I'm leaning towards struck through copper foil flake as you said.
