What are some thoughts about the new Space Force $2 bill? I think it looks really nice, but about $30 a pop online seems a little pricey. Of course the more you order, the less they are. It still looks cool though.
Rest in Peace

Thoughts:
It's kind of pretty.
It's not as issued by the government, it is altered post printing by a private party and so has no real numismatic value.
I'ld keep one if it was a gift, but would never buy one.
Keep searching, I've seen them for as low as $15

If you don't know what they look like,
do a Google Images search.

Saw Space Force $2bill advertised on Google Images for $22 each.
In the same search, I saw a set of 3x$2 bills, celebrating Christmas Valentines and Easter, for $51 for the set of 3.

All four bills very multi-colorful, They look kich** to me, and look awfully like some sort of gimmick.

Would be good if they went into wide scale circulation, but considering Americans' aversion to $2 bills generally, that ain't goin' to happen. Also, would not be accepted at cash resisters by those who don't know about them.

**Kich - opposite to 'chic' -spelled backwards (sort of).

How about saving your money, and stacking silver instead?

Some people like these novelty notes. Real U.S.currency adorned with everything from Elvis to Santa Clause to now the Space Force. My mom liked this kinda stuff. I remember how excited she was to get a faux Lady Diana ring with the fake blue sapphire in the center. Novelty notes do not appeal to me, and I'm also not a big fan of Disney Dollars.

As a retired Air Force guy who thinks the entire concept of a Space Force is stupid, I'm going to pass.

Like "zero euros" (a big pass) for me too!

(IMO: I think it's such a shame there's people out there making a quick buck from the gullible masses who are amused by novelty gimmicks & who surmise that even these fantasy pieces of pop art will indeed become desirable, like the much hyped Disney duck dollars. There are so many better places to focus your hard earned income if you want to collect decent/scarce or collectible banknotes folks!)

Unless, of course, you're in the print industry & just want to support your fellow print (brotherhood/sisterhood) local designers just starting out in the industry (I suppose) or are a Hollywood big-shot who doesn't know what the heck to do with their wheelbarrows brimming with cash....Just sayin )

Horrifying. Space was initially intended to be kept free of military purpose. Yet it's been creeping in slowly since Day-1 and now this.
