Hello everyone. What can I do to stop this from deteriorating more?

There's nothing you can do - this coin is a cull, badly corroded, and will never be worth more than 25 cents if that.

Soak in Acetone then soak in some kind of oil. Tr to find an oil that is not corrosive though. Naturally spraying it with a clear Paint of some kind sure wouldn't hurt either.

If you found them then you should like them. Finds are always fun to remember.

Give it a proper burial ! No hope for that coin, it is dead . Take 20 bucks and buy a decent coin. That will get you a pleasing EF coin .

Cover it with vaseline, and wipe off. That'll make it anaerobic
