Looks flattened by wear IMO.

Quote: Light glare doubling, minor DDD I don't see much flattening - more like John1 stated - glare, worn obverse die, and some slight grease on the reverse die

He's talking about the last 0 in 2020. There is most certainly DDD and glare, but the OP's post is specifically directed at the flattened 0.

Just light glare. Notice how the "doubling" changes in the close up of the date, depending on angle of the light source?

It is not like glare it doesn't change you can see it with your bare eyes with no magnification

The last four pictures are two sets of two the first two are "2020" in order as are the last two photos.

Whatever it is, it's worth nothing and isn't a doubled die. Could be DDD, MD, Circulation Flattening, Lighting, doesn't matter. It's worth 1 cent.

I'm going to buck the trend and say this is a modern DDO, with the doubling not located towards the center of the coin. The zero's of the date are ovals with notching on the upper right corners. These areas of notching are also thinner than the two sides of the zeroes. It's not glare. I've added some arrows to Jserty's image. (They are somewhat grainy which does make it difficult.)

You know, I didn't notice the notching, thanks Pete!

Personally, I still disagree with this. A little back in the Summer I went through thousands of the 2020 D and 2020 P cents. This occurrence was much too common. If it isn't the doubling I listed above, it's Hub Doubling.

I haven't searched many, if any 2020 Lincoln cents, so I can't offer an opinion on master die doubling. Wexler doesn't have any Master die doubling listed as of now. But one of the things myself and another collector I know look for are "Footballs" on the inside of the distorted zeroes of the date when looking for DDO's. Like this image. Take a look at 2011P WDDO-003 in this link. http://doubleddie.com/431101.htmlNotice the "football" shape of the zero as well as the notching at the bottom left of the 2. The zero also has the "funny/odd" notching on the bottom left similar to the OP's coin. Sometimes this odd notching shows up at the top and bottom of the "footballs".
