I would have to agree that Terry has all the good features mentioned by the members of the forum. Probably his best one is being available to spear head efforts to make this forum a better place than when he joined. Having said all that, there is one other matter and it is that Terry also has a 'dark side', and I'm not talking about coins. He actually believes that it is necessary to hunt Bufffalo wearing nothing more than a breach-cloth and feather in his hair. Usin a bow and arrow and skinning the critter with a piece of flint. You will have to admit this is fairly strange. Oh yes, he also believes his picture in on the Kansas quarter with the Buffalo's shown. He appears as a sun flower down below the rear of the center Buffalo. Or at least that is what he did believe at one time.

I certainly agree with all that has been said. What makes Terry's contributions even more amazing is the fact that he has many irons in the fire. He has a full time job, raises birds, does excellent wood work, and finds the time to pose (in the far background) for artwork on coins featuring the buffalo!
I held down two jobs for better than 35 years, and yet I'm sure Terry does much more during his work-filled days.
Yep, he's a good guy, and a credit to our coin community.

Thanks guys and gals! I have done many things in my life, most of which you do not know about, but it is out of my desires to do everything possible with the limited time I(we) have on this planet and life. At times it seems I have tried everything but I always manage to find something else to peak my interests again. I will work to achieve some self satisfaction in what I am doing and when I reach a certain level well its time to move on to something else. I wouldn't call it "burn out" as I learned years and years ago I must keep looking over that next hill or exploring another idea or better way. The ONLY thing I have never given up on, or should I say, "stayed with the longest" is my love of coins and collecting. I see great value in this hobby! It holds potential for each and every one of use as we develop the knowledge needed to succeed. Passing this great love on to my kids, your kids, the next door neighbor, co-workers and friends has been one of the greatest enjoyments of my life. There are a million different reasons to collect coins and one of them is quite simply teaching a kid to save! Every penny, nickel or dime put away is a benefit for a day in the future. If they gain worth then that is an added PLUS. There is NO negatives in coin collecting regardless of your budget or collecting habits. ONLY POSITIVES and DREAMS! And as I have said before, "In coin collecting I find the opportunity to be the CEO a nice feel for a change!" I am my boss and can blame no one other than myself for MY decisions to buy, sell or trade! I just love the hobby and what it has done for me, my family and my friends! It is that simple and the icing on the cake is LOOK WHAT IT, ALONG WITH THE INTERNET, HAS GIVEN ME----------ALL OF YOU!!!

I may grumble sometimes about Terry getting me hooked on the Euros, but he knows I really don't mean it! I had no idea what kind of cool stuff was out there in the Dark Side until Terry started working on me, and boy am I glad he did! I always look forward to getting new Euros, and the bulk of the additions to my collection in the last year have been Dark Side coins. Thanks Terry! Rachel [:p]

As someone who seems to hate imprisioned coins more than I do, I hereby nominate Terry for the honorary title of Spartacus.

Just what I need! Another title? longnine I do own a few slabs but they are ones that MUST remain slabbed for one reason or another! Old Dan, where I come from we call that a "railroad" job! Open the nominations, select a sucker, er....nominee, close the nominations and then vote! Then you hear the AYES have it!

Spartacus, I own some ABCs (almost bread and circuses) too but I still feel their pain. We must free them all! One suggestion though, we might try to avoid those constricted peninsulars this time around.
