Looks suspiciously like an Ankh on the reverse, haven't heard much about such coins.

The symbol isn't an ankh, but rather a tau-rho (or staurogram).

The VCoins listing referenced above is mistaken in identifyiing it as a chi-rho (or christogram), although both are examples of early Christian iconography.

Constantine employed the chi-rho (or, if you prefer, specifically a chrisnon or sigla, with the more general term being a christogram) as a symbol for "Christ" (Χριστος). The staurogram is believed to stem from either of the Greek words for "cross" (σταυρος) or "crucify" (σταυροω) and as such may be considered to be the first, rudimentary form of the crucifix. It also coincidentally closely resembles a later Knights Templar version of the cross, which is thought by some to possibly have been derived from a pictograph representing the pagan goddess Tanit.

Good to learn this today as I was thinking it was called a Chi-Rho also.
