Here we go again, another Seated Liberty half dime for your review.
These are the seller's photos. I don't have any larger ones, unfortunately.

I'm surprised a genuine 1861 has a fat arm like that but the hand holding the rod seems a bit off. Otherwise I'll go with XF40

Are you suggesting I found another counterfeit coin? It doesn't look fake to me...
Any idea what this little wiggle is to the left of the "1" in 1861?

Nope - just throwing it out there for people that have a higher knowledge to verify one way or the other. I'm sure you wouldn't want to buy a counterfeit.

EF-45. The reverse is better than the obverse. The squiggle is a contact mark. There are several contact marks on the shield and Liberty's right leg. The surfaces look original. It doesn't look like the overdate, but it's a solid example for the grade, as long as the price is reasonable (in the $40s would be spot on).

i think this one is legit. XF45. there are some noticeable digs on the upper part of the shield as well as the thigh area above that we well as the right knee and the bottom of the dress near the shield near the Y in LIBERTY. I dont think the coin would grade straight

The seller wants AU money for it, which I think is a little too high. I'll wait and see...

Well, someone bought it today.
