1929 S Walking Liberty - Lots Of Wiping Scratches - Send To TPG?

dmelendro12 New Member Canada 5 Posts	Posted 12/23/2020 9:49 pm Hi there, I just found a 1929 s Walking Liberty in a coin lot I bought. The coin is Uncirculated, but it seems to have some relatively heavy hairline scratches, probably from wiping. I tried to upload some pics, but it wouldn't let me even after resizing (although you wouldn't be able to see the scratches anyways). Scratches aside, it looks to be an MS-64 coin. sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21786 Posts	Posted 12/24/2020 01:46 am From the verbal description, I am assuming that it will most probably come with a 'comments' if sent for TPG. I guess that was the reason why it was bought at a reasonable cost. If the hair lining is bad enough, there is a slight chance that it may not be graded. Less eye appeal/comments vs collector demand, and thus value. Without pictures, entirely your judgement to be graded or not. We can only speculate on the reason why it hasn't been graded before now.
