I found a 1919 s Wheat penny and the L for liberty is pretty much part of the raised side. Also, there are letters in which only half the letter is stamped. Is this worth anything?

to CCF. Looks like either PMD or a minor Grease Filled Die. No added value for the varieties.

Would qualify as a typical 1919-S. Minor things like this add no value and are common.

with all of the above. That being said, it's a pretty nice find if you pulled this from circulation at face value. I am not sure what grade you'd assign to this (you might want to post this in our grading section here), but it does have some value for it's fairly nice condition, especially considering its age. Nice find!

to the CCF! We look forward to seeing what else you may find!

p.s.- It's not a good idea to photograph your coins while holding them. Just lay them down on a solid surface and photograph them from directly above.

The most common pre-1920 mint-marked cent by far, but great to find in the wild more than a hundred years later.

to the CCF!
