I'm wanting to know what these lines that look like cracks or cuts on both sides are? I also want to know what condition this coin is in and estimate value I inherited this coin from my grandmother and I would love to know more. Thanks

The marks are just PMD (post mint damage). Sadly, kills any remaining value on this one. 1919 had a relatively high mintage for early buffs, and is common in low-mid grades. Higher value grades start in mid MS for this year. I'd call this Fine Details. Value is under $1.

You can see some of the metal pushed up around those lines - took some kind of hit(s) - Yes, PMD
