I looked at this 1907 Indian Head cent on ebay but passed on it because I wasn't sure of the color. I've been burned more than once on old cents which turned out to have altered color and am certainly no expert at being able to distinguish between original and altered..

This one looked a bit funny to me. What do others think?

These are the seller's photos.

Thanks!

If that's the best he can do, I'd pass. Agree color doesn't look red/orange enough, and the sharpness is terrible.

Clearer photos needed to be honest I'd stay away.
Rest in Peace

I'm not happy with the photos either but I'd like to take a shot on this one . Because of the dark spots on obverse edges I'm going to say lightly cleaned . Just doesn't have that MS lustery look .

I don't think folks were impressed with it. It sold for $42.00.
