but full steps is not such a big deal on most of the more recent dates.

Better (diffused) lighting and a closer-in photo on the left side of the steps would be helpful. Given the photo posted, there may be something going on with the steps.

They would give you FS on this nickel. Also, look at them side steps at either side of Monticello. Great stuff! Maybe I'm being a little forward thinking but I think at some future date many years from now, these nickels with side step detail will be recognized. Remember, at some point 30 some odd years ago people were smart enough to recognize full steps would be a thing. I'm suggesting now that Jefferson's with full front and full side steps will be a thing.
